Compared to other events, PFD was a poor camp to be perfectly honest. However, I did learn a good bit regardless of that. Our camp didn't have as much work or as many classes as the other events did. CDE has an awsome Extemp and LD from what I saw. I know if you did Extemp, you left with at least 500 new articles highlighted and labeled in folders. That is the only reason I was asking. I heard one of the instructors say that CDE is regarded sometimes as being an Extemp boot camp. Perhaps next summer you will visit CDE? I want to go back there myself for a second year. I think you might enjoy it. You would be envious of your main instructor's personality I think hehe. Ask Viki about Mr. Bennet one day.
You wouldn't know who I am. I agree it does kinda suck, but since it is a new event, there are very few camps in the country that do PFD. In essence, it is the best of the worst. Although, its not that bad. Mr. Bennet was cool in his own way. He declined my challenge to a dance off at the dance though. Who wouldn't love Old School meets New School in an epic dance off. *Sigh*
*Side note, all the Bennets were cool. Sean, Bill, and Kat. It's too bad that Kat's last year at cde was this summer. Even though the PFD program wasn't as good as it could have been, Sean was a really good coach. I'm glad he lives in Georgia and hopefully I'll get to see him quite a few times (Wake, Georgia Tournaments).
Are you going to be a senior? I'm guessing that you are on the fact that random entries in your lj mention that you need to finish your OO, you need to apply for colleges, and the SC website says your in class of 06 (it is wrong sometimes). If your a senior and you will be at wake, we should talk.
Yeah Mario was there. Sean found him a job somewhere in Georgia. I don't think Mario really liked me though. I'm going to the Winfield Scott Classic for sure. I think you know Kelly (She did LD while you were there). She is going to have DDR at the tournament. It will be a lot of fun. I think sean said the tournament will be on the weekend of October 15 or 22, i'm not quite sure. I go to mauldin. You've seen me a few times at local tournaments and at Emery, but you probably don't remember me.
